On August 27th, the 2023 China Textile Industry Federation's Fifth Second Expanded Council and Fifth Third Expanded Executive Council, hosted by the China Textile Industry Association, were successfully held in Shanghai. More than 350 representatives, including Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, Du Yuzhou and Wang Tiankai, former Vice President Xu Kunyuan, as well as members of the 5th Council and Executive Director of the China Textile Federation, members of various departments of the China Textile Federation, and annual innovative figures in the Chinese textile industry in 2021 and 2022, attended the meeting together. Burgeree President Zuo Hongyun was invited to attend the meeting, and Xia Lingmin, Secretary General of the China Textile Industry Federation, presided over the meeting.

      At the meeting, Xia Lingmin reported to the conference on the "Work Measures for the Supervisory Board of the China Textile Industry Federation (Trial)", and reported on the changes to the specially invited Vice President, Executive Director, and Director of the 5th Council of the China Textile Industry Federation, which were passed through voting. In order to promote the high-end, intelligent, green and integrated development of China's textile industry and comprehensively build a modern textile industry system with integrity, progressiveness and security, the Council officially released the final draft of the Action Plan for Building a Modern Textile Industry System (2022-2035).

      The Action Outline proposes clear directions for future specific actions, including promoting textile technology innovation to promote industry progress, highlighting cultural leading textile fashion upgrading, practicing green textile manufacturing and fulfilling social responsibilities, establishing coordinated and linked textile regional integration and development, promoting dual cycle international supply chain improvement, and promoting deep integration and development of digital economy and textile industry Seven aspects including the construction of textile human resources to support modern development.

      At the meeting, Xu Yingxin, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation, read out the "Decision on Granting the Honorary Title of 2021 China Textile Industry Annual Innovation Figures". The annual innovation figures selection activity in the Chinese textile industry is an evaluation and recognition activity approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. Burgeree president Zuo Hongyun was awarded the title of "2021 China Textile Industry Innovation Figure of the Year" and awarded medals and certificates.
