As original project of Guangzhou Design Week, Khmer Rouge China Design Award, one of the most influential product design in China, launched under the leadership of the government of Guangzhou in 2006. Co-hosted by China Industrial Design Association and Guangzhou International Design Week, Khmer Rouge China Design Award is the only one to acquire joint certification of three authoritative international design organizations such as ICSID, ICOGRADA and IFI. It is an annual international design event that is promoted synchronously around the world. It is annual inventory of “made in China” to “created in China”, a channel for enterprises to express the power of design and a highest platform for product display and innovative design. In 2021,“Cotton Award”further focuses on "improving living quality". Take”design driven, industry upgraded” as goal and mission and "society for people's livelihood" as value, it focus on all-round overall design practice and build the platform of design and manufacturing, consumer information transmission and demand interaction. It establishes the clever cycle between residential space, industrial manufacturing, brand spreading and consumer. It also builds healthy, fair, right, complete large design evaluation standard and promotion system. Recently, the list of winners of the Khmer Rouge China Design Award was released, "Sound-absorbing Module Wall" of Burgeree won "2021 Product Design Award". 

Sound-absorbing module wall are a group of space divider products which can partition the indoor environment. The biggest advantage of this product is that it is composed of only two kinds of sound-absorbing panels, which can easily install different size of sound-absorbing walls. Sound-absorbing panels use unique V-shaped carving and install easily which can make long distance transportation possible and save the  transporation space and fee. Nonetheless, different people can assemble these easily in different scenario.
